Dr. LaVan R. Parker III, DDS

A native of Austin, Texas, Dr. LaVan R. Parker III, DDS, brings extensive academic and clinical training to his patients at San Antonio Surgical Arts, with four offices throughout San Antonio and New Braunfels, Texas.

After graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Dr. Parker earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M University College of Dentistry). He completed a general practice residency at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital and a teaching fellowship at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry, then completed his postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Baylor University Medical Center.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Parker holds professional memberships with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Dental Association, Baylor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Alumni Association, and River District Dental Society.
